COMMUNITY

Delta Zeta’s overall philanthropy is Hearing and Speech. Nationally, we support three partners: the Starkey Hearing Foundation, American Society for Deaf Children, and SeriousFun Children’s Network. Our longest-standing partnership, the Starkey Hearing Foundation, provides hearing healthcare for those in need who are searching for those resources. They plan hearing mission trips where they, along with some Delta Zetas, travel to another country to fit individuals with hearing aids for free!

To promote total communication, Delta Zetas recently added the American Society for Deaf Children as a partner. ASDC offers opportunities for families and children to learn American Sign Language through the ASL weekends that they hold yearly.

Our final partner is our global service project-SeriousFun Children’s Network. With 30 camps worldwide, SeriousFun offers a camp experience for children with serious medical conditions to just be a kid. Through fundraising, these camps are completely free to the campers.

Whether it’s donating money, time, or resources, our members truly live the word of the Delta Zeta creed by giving graciously.
